Wow, this pedal wants to be the last drive on my pedal chain and sounds amazing on it's own, however I can tweak it to make all my other drives sound incredible as well.

Well, this is the closest you can get to the Dumble sound without expending a fortune!! Very nice EQ. Super well built pedal. If you like blues, particularly John Mayer kind of sound, this is for you!

I found the SSS device really interesting. It adds dimension to the existing sound, not too drastic. Takes a minute to learn, but it's easy to use! Can add nice Mid range or fat lows, silky hi freqs. Nice variety of sounds available.

Yes it will Mayer and SRV and so much more. Pure joy to play through front of amp or in amps loop. I put a Precision Drive in front and it sings !!

I use this pedal last in my effects chain, like it is an amp. It really is an impressive pedal. If you love the tone Of JM, SRV, Ford, it can be dialed in. I know the history of Vertex and people's hesitancy to buy their pedals, however, this is a great pedal no matter the maker. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.
