The JHS SuperBolt v2 can go from a low smolder drive to a torn speaker, wild, dirty, face-melting fuzz. It has tube-like sensitivity. Pinch harmonics sing. The tone knob has a wide & useful range. It's happy in front of a clean or dirty amp. The remote switch is a must. After fiddling, I found a thick, gravelly, not-quite-fuzz tone on the high gain setting. In low gain, it still… read more has the dirt but can get cleaner & more articulate for chord and finger style playing. I can turn it off & go even cleaner. Three tones without touching my amp. It's never leaving my board. Total surprise: It made my 7-string sound ANGRY.

Great pedal. Can get great OD sounds of all kind. Sound awesome with any guitar through any amp. Fantastic.

I love this pedal. It has a raw like almost fuzzy if you want gain. I love it. It can be tamed to lower distortion. Two drives. But I like raw, greasy dirty blues and I use this pedal for it a lot. I see it in tons of pedalboards.

Ok so I should inform you of what gear I'm using. A Gibson Standard SG with classic 57s and a vox ac15 vintage black with a creamback speaker. Some say this is a supro in a box I did not get that feeling, but what I did get was a wild goodness hands down my favorite overdrive to date 02-20-2021. It really adds color and it just really reminded me of a second channel for dirt that… read more sounded natural it can get very knarly if you want it to but if your looking to hit those acdc type,tones and bluesy lynard skynard rock tones pick this up.

Amazing pedal, don't really need to turn the volume knob much to really get some serious overdrive, turn it up with the drive and get speaker ripping apart type sounds. Would highly recommend, definitely pair with red remote for extra gain on the fly
