Probably the Best Green Fuzz
I've have a few fuzz pedals from different brands. Some too harsh, and some where you can't hear where the note is. But the Swollen Pickle does it right as an updated and very adjustable version of the green Russian. Zach @ Sweetwater was helpful as always!
Very versatile!
When researching this pedal I kept seeing the word "versatile" and that sums it up perfect. You can go from 1960's fuzz to 80's distortion with the turn of a couple knobs. Durable build, beautiful look and the name says it all. This pedal will swell your pickle!
Lots to offer doom metal/desert rock etc etc
The swollen pickle mk2s was my first fuzz pedal. With that being said it took me longer to figure out all the tone abilities than a seasoned fuzz user could but I’m glad I gave it the time i needed because it can be pushed like a super dark loose fuzz all the way to a tight almost metal distortion. My favorite way to use this pedal is to boost it with the Catalinbread naga viper… read more it adds so much to this pedal and I recommended the pair Im currently running these pedals into a orange crush pro 120 head into two Orange 212 vintage 30 cabs Guitars have passive and EMG picks and the results are equally satisfying
Windhand, Sleep, Doom and You!!!
Here is the key. Are you having a problem with every fuzz pedal you buy? Does it seem no matter what you do you can’t achieve the ultimate fuzz tone? Well, I’m here to help. I’ve had a few fuzz pedals that I loved And I sold them because they didn’t sound great with what I had. This pedal is the best fuzz I have owned, and it also helped me find out why my other fuzz pedals… read more didn’t sound good. You need to turn your amplifier all the way up. And If you play in a house in a room and not outside which should be everybody or almost everybody, buy yourself a JHS attenuator, and put it in your effects loop and then turn your volume down with that, or if You have a master volume turn your channel volume all the way up and your master down.
Fuzz nuts rejoice!
I own many fuzz pedals and needed another one like I need a hole in the head. However right out of the box without turning a single knob I loved it. A little tweaking and I found the perfect fuzz for my p90 equipped guitar. This thing goes all the way from a mild fuzz to over the top raunchy mayhem.
