The Most Analog Sounding Digital Processor of All Time!

Mark Johnson

First off, my sales guy Aaron Cieslikowski and his team are the best. Prompt, courteous and always at the ready to help answer any questions for any situation I may have. Thank you Aaron for all of your help over the years! As for the ISP Theta MSX, I can barely form a sentence as to how incredibly awesome this processor SOUNDS. It is legitimately thee most analog sounding piece read more of digital gear I have ever owned. And I have owned them all. Vintage tones, modern tones, 80's chorused clean and dirty tones, metal tones, it's literally all there. Don't care that it doesn't have USB. You don't need it. Don't care that it doesn't have an infinite amount of tweak-able parameters. You don't need them either. It's simple and easy to use, sounds and feels great under your fingers. I absolutely love this processor.

This is the one!

Like others who have written reviews on this amazing unit, I too have owned it all (Fractal, Atomic, Headrush, Line 6, Hotone, Neural DSP, etc). and this unit blows them all away! I am simply astounded how much it feels, responds, and reacts like the real deal. The cabinet emulation is also first class. Don't be fooled by other products that only offer option paralysis (100's read more of cab models) - Go with what works! Keep it simple, and let the inspiration flow. This Theta MSX is pure inspiration in a box for me - I love it, and love ISP Technologies. Get this instead of the others...they all do amp modeling...ISP Does TONE MODELING - There's a huge difference there.

Simply the Best!

Like Michael below (awesome review, BTW), I too have owned or used Fractal, Line 6, Kemper, Atomic and Hotone modeling products... The ISP Theta MSX is the best guitar system I've used to date. The tonal flexibility, capability, feel, and experience are all superior to what I've experienced with the rest. Don't sleep on this product, folks! It's unbeatable, and plugging this read more in to a system with the Cabinet simulation is so incredible. ISP may not have the best marketing, but their products beat the rest.

Massive!

I"ve had, or heard, Helix, Kemper, Fractal, the very best of the modern amp sims. This ISP Theta MSX just sounds killer. Yes, Stryker / Michael Sweet have their sound, which I love, but this box is capable of so much more. Don't let YouTube sound deter you from checking one out. Through cabs, headphones, ear buds or monitors, this box is as punchy as you could want or a clean read more as clean can be with or without effects. With the Decimator integrated, it was a no brainer for recording. Try one out if you can. Hearing it, and playing it yourself, will make a huge difference. Great job Buck and Michael!
