Didn't want to like it

On a recent trip to Sweetwater, I came across this pedal. Based on the price tag, I really wanted not to like it, but I plugged it in anyway. For the next 20 or so minutes I was treated to idea after idea. I tried to get away from it by playing other pedals but found myself continually referring back to this one, "it's cool, but it's not Plasma Coil cool". Went to lunch, came back, read more and played the pedal again, same experience, more ideas. The design is beautiful, the plasma coil itself is otherworldly, but the sound of this pedal is what sold me. I've never heard anything like it. I read a review that said you'll likely have an album's worth of ideas in the first 10 minutes of playing this pedal. Absolutely true.

Doesn't get better than this.

If it's good enough for Mike Kerr and Jack White, it's good enough for me. I have not played on a more fun fuzz pedal! Suits all my needs - endless sustain, yet perfectly gated. Definitely my favorite fuzz!

Monster tones in a little box - perfect for bass

The tone this thing makes is sick. Its like a gated fuzz (im assuming you already know that though), theres a lot more possibilities than one would think at first glance with the "octave settings" that can be toggled on and off and the voltage knob. Perfect for bluesy / alt rock tones I use it on my bass and although its a little hard to control on bass, its exactly what I wanted read more out of a distortion pedal!

Killer pedal for something different

This pedal is not simply cool looking and different, it sounds INSANE. I don't get a lot of dynamics with my hot pickups but this pedal instantly makes playing fun. It can do a lot of different things. You have to check out the videos and see if it will work for you.

More than just crazy

This thing rules. It has all sorts of psychotic fuzz and octave sounds, but as a stand-alone distortion, it's easily one of the most interesting dirt textures I've tried. I love the noise gate-type feature. Sure, you could use this all day to cop Jack White-esque tones, but you can also stack it with your own pedals and create a whole new voice. Kinda wish all my friends had one, read more but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy being the only one
