Tank
built like a freaking tank. gives that little bit of extra edge to my mark v 35.
Solid - great tone
This is my first Mesa pedal and I love it. Built like a tank. The adjustment knobs are smooth and sure. And there is just something about the tone, the sound, that I find really satisfying. I can't but it into words, but it is easy to dial in a "perfect" tone over a wide range of styles. My only gripe... I like the wide footpads that you find on pedals like boss. Easier for me… read more to hit without so much cognitive overhead :-) Not sure how many other pedals Mesa has that I might need, but I'll look at their stuff first.
I got my boogie back
Its been a long time since I heard the roar of the boogie tone. Im very happy,I used to own a 100wt dual rec head and I wished I never got rid of it...things happen but that throttle box through my little 40 wt blackstar reminds me of my old amp...this thing Its AWESOME!!! thanks Sweet water for all your help, recommended to all :)
Sick tone
This pedal hit the spot!! Exactly what i was looking for to shape my tone. Insane pinch harmonics through it and no noise. The other pedals ive used for metal are not defined and most of them create unwanted picking noise from strings. This pedal gives you that sick Lamb of God tone with saturation. Definitely worth the money and even though it was on backorder, Sweetwater had it… read more to me very fast no hassles.
Defined Tone
I use it on the low and high setting, tight Beefy distortion, not muddled at all. It makes my little 20 watt amp grow some serious muscles. I recommend this pedal to anyone that likes to play Hard Rock, you will be stoked!!!
