Got this about two weeks ago and I am in love. The green channel sounds more like a plexi than most reissues! The red channel with a tube screamer or boost is out of this world. Using this with a 100w tube power amp and some other fx. Fun fact, if you put a clean drive/boost in the 4cm loop, and send the fx return to a power amp, the bypass essentially makes this a 3 channel pedal.

This very clever preamp pedal worked seamlessly with my amp head to essentially add two additional channels! The way that this pedal integrates into a tube amp fx loop/input is very smart. At first I was a little confused at the suggested cable routing but once you connect it the way they suggest you understand why. The power adapter was not the most sturdy thing hence the one… read more star off. I found that the US format snap-on regional power adapter plate for the power supply did not stay clicked into place fully and could be pulled apart with minimal force. Fine for a studio but on the road I'd get a different PS of glue it together.
