Works for my guitar

Like the Voice Live Play, this box can run a guitar and a microphone (mono) or a guitar or vocal in stereo. What the documentation misleads to is that the guitar settings are global and thus don't allow for selectable presets. This is not so. You can turn off the global guitar setting and dial in as many guitar customizations as you like. Then on either box, you can set your favorites read more and eliminate the clutter of all the factory offerings. I like to focus on no more than six settings, opting to vary guitar body resonance/tone and reverb/delay depth. There's also detune/distortion available. I will no doubt dial in the settings with reference headphones and lighten the effects adding clarity. There are so many better options for studio sound, but these are nice for live play in the park.

Acoustic Player's Dream!

I originally bought a TC Helicon Play Acoustic a number of years back, played with it for awhile (and LIKED it), then sold it as I was on a search for the best sound I could get in a one-pedal solution. After trying several other units and finding many of them too difficult to use in a live setting, I bought another Play Acoustic. Man, am I HAPPY I did that! I have 4 Emerald carbon read more fiber guitars (all setup with different pickups), a Carvin C750 with LR Baggs Anthem, and an old Charvel 625C (with original Charvel electronics intact) that I bought brand new in 1993. The BodyRez function in the TCHPA is fantastic! You can tone-shape virtually any guitar to your liking. I suspect that I was impatient with my first one, and wanted to get tones built quickly. Lesson learned... taking the TIME to work with this box will yield awesome results. I have a setting for each guitar that I can recall with a button tap. I lead worship at my church, and I don't use vocal harmonies since I have multiple backing singers. Although when I lead at other churches by myself, I DO use the harmonies, and they work and sound great - again... taking the TIME to set them up right. Spend some time in the manual learning what each function does, and you will find yourself becoming an expert with this unit. At this price point, what you get for the money is a GREAT DEAL! I have included a pic of my acoustic pedal board. I run out of the TCHPA into the Boss RV-6 reverb. I use a little bit of reverb from the TCHPA, but really like the stacked sound of the added RV-6 (on the "dynamic" setting.) From there the signal hits the passive DI out to the sound system.

Best Acoustic Sound

I previously had the VoiceLive 3 Extreme and I loved my acoustic sound. I did need something different for electric sounds. I came to this product mainly for the Bodyres features. This is hands down the best pedal for acoustic guitar and trust me I've had them all. The vocal processing is a huge plus as well. Great for solo acts or in a group setting.
