Love the look!

I chose this guitar mainly for its looks. I have another Yamaha with the same electronics but a concert body. I was pretty sure this guitar wouldn't sound good when played acoustically and I was right. The thin body and the painted finish aren't suited to producing great sound. At the same time, I believed it would sound as good as my other Yamaha when amplified and again I read more was right. Getting the tone dialed in can be a bit of a challenge but once you get it, it sounds great! I add a touch of chorus for a bit more depth. The slim body is very comfortable. The scale length seems shorter but it might just be the compact body that makes it seem so. All in all, it's a good guitar for gigging without breaking the bank.

COOL VINTAGE WHITE STANDS OUT...

My initial impression was...well...so-so...but after setting the proper string height at the first fret and taking about .015" off the saddle bottom and putting on a set of nickel .010s. it came alive. The neck is like an electric and is straight and came withe right amount of relief. The body is heavier than it needs to be but not crazy heavy. Sonically speaking, unplugged it read more is no Martin, a bit plinky because of the plywood but plug it in and wow...it drives my Fender Blues Jr and my Bugera T5 very well. This is not really a Folk guitar at all but it works for the blues and classic rock styles that I do...overall, a good deal.

So George arrived really quickly and in perfect condition and I won't lie when my son unpacked the guitar for me and I saw it the first time I got a little misty eyed because this is the first brand-new guitar I've ever owned in my life and after years and years of just playing old junkers we had laying around the house, to this day no one knows where they came from, this guitar read more is already special to me and I loved it just from the way it looked and he handed me the guitar and it fit me perfectly and I turned it on, tuned it up and started playing it within minutes. I'm far, far, faaaarrrr from being any kind of a musician and don't know much about instruments but I can play a song or three and this guitar was perfect for my needs just playing for my own enjoyment and the price was great and one of the best things about all this is how amazing Sweetwater is not only with their delivery making sure the guitar was well packaged and setup and ready to go right out of the box but the customer service was beyond great, receiving a call from my Sales Engineer Chris was so nice, not to many companies do that kind of thing that I know of so to me that is a huge thing and I've already ordered more things from Sweatwater and they got here fast and in great condition as well and I'm not just buying things for the free candy you get from them lol. My new guitar plays great and its so easy to play and being in a wheelchair the size of the guitar worked great and not having giant meat hook hands this guitars smaller neck is awesome and the guitar sounds so good I think. I hardly ever use a pick but when I strummed this sucker with a pick it rung out like it was hooked up to an amp it was so clear and clean and I've only had to tune it twice and I've hardly sat it down since I got it a weak or so ago so I think that is pretty good. I will hush now and I highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a thinner body slightly smaller scale guitar in this price range. For me this was a great buy, great guitar and a great company, Thanks Sweatwater.

I played the EXP 500 thin line a long time ago .and really liked it so when I saw the EXP 600thinline in the Sweetwater deal section ,I bought it. what a nice guitar.I love the neck on it ,the body feels a little thicker than the EXP 500.but not that much piezo pickup sounds great and it looks beautiful.I never owned an acoustic guitar with a pickup I can use it with my Boss Katana read more amp on my next gig.as always, another good buy from Sweetwater!!!!!
