Strymon Quality
As with all Strymon products, the Zuma R300 is built like a tank and performs impeccably. Strong and reliable power, easy to mount on any pedal board, and versatile enough to run any pedal. There are other good products available, but I'm never disappointed with Strymon.
Love the low profile
This does its job just fine. Not the kind of thing you can qualify as "fantastic," I mean, it's just a power supply. But it's solidly built and easy to install with the supplied drill template. For me, the low profile was the reason I chose this over others.
Quality power supply
very sturdy chassis, seems like it could take a beating and still work perfectly. can be mounted under a pedalboard with enough dualLock, but I keep mine on top cause I like how it looks, and makes it easier to access if I need to re-route wiring. Will probably end up getting the expansion brick so I can fill out this current board.
Handles the Eventide H9
Using its selectable voltage output, and purchased reverse polarity cable, and a 2.1 to 2.5 mm barrel adapter, powered the H9 nicely, in addition to my other standard 9 V pedals.
Zuma R300 -- Great Choice for Gator GTOUR Pedal Boards
I bought this power supply in hopes that it would fit UNDERNEATH the Gator G-TOUR pedal board that I bought (from Sweetwater actually). The good news: it fits perfectly! This is the only PSU on the market that is currently small enough to do so. I used some of the 5M Industrial velcro and mounted it directly underneath the pedal board itself, with the 5 pedal outlets facing outwards… read more so they can wrap around the side of the board and just reach to the top without drilling any holes in the pedal board itself. If you need more cable length, you can always buy the female-to-male adaptors that ONESPOT makes. Now I have a super solid pedal board that plugs into the wall with a single cable (gets rid of the power strip/wall wart power supplies I used to have to lug around). I bought this model for that reason -- no external power brick is needed, a standard 3-prong cable plugs directly into this model. This makes things very clean underneath the board. Heads up -- if you plan on using with MOOGERFOOGERS, you'll need a polarity reversal cable. Great product!
