Great for that special sound

I needed an overdrive to help rock-out my bass for some specific songs (80's power ballad, for example!) and this is perfect. You can dial in the level to match your non-effect volume (no blowing out everyone's IEM's!) and adjust to get just the right sound. And, if I want to sound like a lead guitar for some reason, I can do that, too!

Absolute have to have. Add a skosh of the saturation knob to have a nice boost to your sound or shape your entire tone around this pedal by creating the perfect overdriven sound. Absolutely love it.

Well,this tiny pedal transform your bass in so many ways. You only can add some "character" with a subtle saturation and a good level,then you can choose the tone with presence and contour knobs. Or if you want a very aggressive sounding... Just put the saturation knob at 14:00 o clock or more and hear what this little thing can do. For me its a very playful pedal,i like… read more to tweak a lot to experiment and get the sound that i need. And to the end. You really don't lose Low End.
