Ditto Mic Looper Awesome !!!
Great for acoustic / Bluegrass instrument looping.
Works quite well within its limitations.
I used this device for a street fair, where I was performing as a street musician, using a combination of junkyard (trash cans, buckets, etc.) and electronic percussion. The Ditto mic looper works as it"s designed: plug a mic into it, and mic up what you want to use. Click the "Loop" button, play a pattern, simple as that. You can layer as many patterns as you"d like. Also, I was… read more pleasantly surprised to find that the patterns are stored in the unit, even when it"s disconnected. So, if you want to use the same patterns each time, you don"t have to enter them in every time you play. YouTube is a great source of "how to" videos for this device, as the instructions are quite vague. Limitations? Mainly, you can only enter one pattern, or set of layered patterns. You can"t have multiple patterns. Also, there"s no click function or any sort of electronic tempo settings, so you"ll have to depend on the quality of your metering when entering patterns/layers. This wasn"t an issue with me, however, and I was delighted with the way this little box works.
This looper is built like a tank .. nice ..
I purchased this ditto looper from the helpful and knowledgeable sales engineer Alex Campos about 4 months ago. This looper is quality built featuring sturdy knobs and switches ... it makes great vocal loops with a good microphone.. It came with a power adaptor :) how about that ? Yes.... if you want a simple solid vocal looper, this is it :)
TC-Helicon ditto looper
Its just the unit I needed to add a different sound to some of my songs. Have yet to experience further, but was well worth this addition.
Easy loop pedal for anything -as advertised.
Work well with just a good quality handheld microphone when looping vocals, harmonica, speaker output,or anything you hear in your ears. I use mine in conjunction with a boss sp-505 loop station to save individual masterpieces created live. Only wish it could sample longer than the 5 minute or so limit it has for those real special creations from the mind. I may get another one… read more to sample some real weird things for the left brain.
