So much fun - but get the x2!
As everyone has said before me in their reviews, loopers just add so much enjoyment and creative inspiration to your noodling. I recommend this one over the basic Ditto (which I've tried) because of two things: the ability to import/export your loops, and the stop button. I had no intention of doing anything but jam over my own loops, but these things WILL get your creative juices… read more flowing! I got the base Ditto and quickly realized it wasn't going to cut it. Alberto my awesome sales tech made the swap really fast and easy. Now I'm creating music with my son by sharing our ideas digitally via the looper files on google drive. The stop button comes in handy when you're in the middle of creating something and you don't want to try and remember how many taps of the button are needed. worth it.
Super Looper
Having used this pedal for a year, this review might seem like a loop of the others… But I wanted it specifically for the extra effects and the stereo option. The looper effect most want is a well trod path and any looper will do those things… I wanted the half speed, reverse tricks and they really work! It makes sounds you can't get many other places. The other comments about… read more the tone are true, the sample rate is high so you get out what you put in. It is big, but you can still run it on batteries, which if you have multiple pedals with different power requirements (using an imprecise power source off by even a couple MAs and you lose functions) comes in handy. Did I mention 5 minutes of looping? It tracks itself well and the overdubs don't get too thin, but the most fun you can have using it to replace "delay", when paired with a decent reverb, you get a sense of what this is capable of. I have fewer skills than most, but I have found this to be a satisfying effect.
Easy to use/no tone suck
Highly recommended. Easy to use & sounds great. I find there's no "tone suck" as I've found with some other loopers.
Best Looper I've ever used (and simple too)
This is the best looper I've ever used: clean and only one knob to adjust your loop level. Works really well with other pedals also. I wore it out heavily after many years of use I bought another one. Nothing beats it!
Easy To Use
I like the Ditto x 2-I was able to pull it out of the box, plug it in and make music. A solid piece of gear for practice or gigging. Thanks to my Sales Rep. Mac Hatton for getting it to me quickly. Sweetwater rocks!
