Epiphone Is Killing It!!!
This Slash Les Paul is the first new Epiphone I've bought in several years and the quality has increased considerably. Quality was always good but the addition of CTS potentiometers and the new Custom Pro Bucker pickups along with the Graph Tech Nubone nut have taken this guitar to another level. I've had many Gibson Les Paul's and SG's and this Epi plays as good if not better than… read more any of them. When I ordered the guitar I thought I might have to swap the pickups for some Seymour Duncan's but after receiving it there is no need. These are the best sounding pickups that Epiphone has ever made. The "Mud Bucker" sound of years gone by doesn't live here anymore. The fit and finish was great and I may drop the action about a half millimeter just to get it to my taste but it played perfect right out of the box. Im really glad I made this purchase. Get one while you can.
