I just purchased the Surf Green and I have the Burgundy Mist with the Ebony. I'm waiting on the Chorine Blue. These guitars are fun to play and sound great! I have Les Pauls and Strats and these sound as good, but are easier to play.

So I semi purchased this guitar on a whim. I was in the market for Charvel San Dimas, had my mind set on it as I love Stats / Super Strats. While browsing the Sweetwater site I fell for the Satin Surf Green Wolfgang Special. I am a sucker for green guitars, and the maple fretboard with the cream pickups and chrome hardware just looked classic with a modern twist due to the Wolfgang… read more body shape. Even though I never played a Wolfgang I always admired them. You can say I have hard time venturing outside of my comfort zone so this was an uneasy decision to make but I told myself if it's good enough for Eddie it definitely will be good enough for me. Since it showed up I can't put her down! I am super impressed with just about everything. The neck feel rivals the Music Man Silhouette I own and the pickups just scream. They are real clear, hot and articulate. I'm still getting use to the Floyd as it's my 1st guitar with one (but I am am no stranger to them). So glad I purchased this guitar. The Wolfgang Special outplays guitars that own that are 2 to 3 times more expensive. If you are remotely considering one just do yourself a favor and buy it.
