I have owned 12 guitars in my life. From Charvel to ltd, Jackson and Gibson. Currently my main guitar was an ltd arrow 1000. I got this evh for Christmas. It plays and sounds better than any guitar I have ever owned. Ed was right. Basswood with a maple cap in the holy grail of tone. The baked maple neck is so solid and stable. I tuned it. Played 16 hours in 2 days and never… read more went out of tune. The neck is so smooth and great for my small hands. Worried about bolt on neck? Don't be. I was a neck through guy. This guitar comes with a brass tremelo block. The sustain is better than my neck through ltd arrow. I figure neck is easier to fix and replace with bolt on. Bolt on was good enough for the king so it's good enough for me. My ltd arrow is going up for sale. I would never play it again after playing a Wolfgang. It's that good. I'm converted. I'll be picking up another in 2022 to keep in a different tuning.
