I have been trying to decide on which Telecaster to buy for several months. I saw the Player Plus Nashville Telecaster and decided it was for me. As usual, I had Sweetwater do the setup before shipping it out. As usual, they nailed it! This is my 8th guitar from Sweetwater and they have nailed the setup every time Fender has knocked it out of the park with this model Telecaster. read more The way they roll the fingerboard edges gives it the feel of a vintage guitar that's been well played in for years. The noiseless pickups sound great. I love this guitar!!

I am very pleased with this Tele. I have owned three. This one is the best. It came set up very well. The follow up call from Cory was an unexpected pleasure.

Love it!!!

First it looks great, that classic butterscotch blonde is hard to beat. Second it has everything you want a Tele to have and more. It's all Telecaster but with the additional Strat middle pickup you get all three Tele tones, as well three additional Strat tones, and you can even engage all three pickups at once. That's an amazing seven tones. The noiseless pickups sound authentic read more but without all the 60 cycle hum of regular single coils. All the knobs and switches feel sturdy and Sweetwater's 55 point inspection was spot on. The locking tuners are great and the setup was perfect out of the box. The neck feels fantastic and is easy to play. I have the Texas Tea American Ultra Telecaster which is a fantastic guitar. This has most of the features of the Ultra, but adds features the Ultra doesn't have, all that at half the price. I wouldn't trade my Ultra, but if I could only have one I'd keep this one.

Another good MIM!

MIM P+ Nashville Tele, a mixture of tele/strat sounds, is so quiet w/noiseless pups. I love to imitate Strat tones in position 1 & 2 without changing my settings on Twin Reverb & Hot Rod DeVille 212 Amps). Honestly, this Tele sounds like 90% of real Strat (not bad at all). Good job Fender, so I could play lead & rhythm on the same guitar w/standard tuning. Much easier to bend read more notes on 12" radius fingerboard. Nice price for a MIM w/lots of features. The only missing thing is the whammy bar (so watch out Strat!).

Excellent guitar!

I received my Nashville Telecaster a few days ago and I find it hard to put down! I been playing for about 55 years and have a nice collection, but find this new one my favorite today! Looks, plays and sounds great! Also fantastic service from Kurt Martin!

I have had my beautiful butterscotch blonde Fender Player Plus Nashville Telecaster for a good week now. All I can say is WOW what a guitar, man! It is hard to put it down. The first night I picked it up and lost track of the time. An hour and a half went by. Poof, gone. It is for sure in my top five "go to" guitars, pushing the top three! Very versatile with a Strat pickup in read more the center. The push/pull knob which activates the bridge and neck pickups is killer too! The set up from the factory and the once over from Sweetwater techs was close to spot on for my needs. Dialed in a couple strings and perfection. You know it has locking tuners right? So if you've been on the fence about this guitar, jump it. Call my sales engineer, Mark Johnson and let him help you pick one out! Thanks again to Mark and the rest of the staff at Sweetwater. Why go anywhere else?
