This guitar is very fun to play. After a quick setup at my local shop, it plays perfectly. The rhythm circuit has been an unexpectedly nice feature for clean ambient playing.

The Vintera JM is mind-blowing! I did a lot of research while saving up for a new guitar and this one ticks all the boxes. I had fallen in love with my son's J Mascis (Squier) Jazzmaster, and I jumped at the chance when I found a Squier Classic Vibe JM. The Classic Vibe suited my needs (although I couldn't get the G string's intonation right), but I couldn't shake the 'Fender… read more Curiosity'. I was always wondering if it was actually "better" to own a Fender instead of a Squier. What I found out: it IS! If you plan to spend a lot of time getting lost/playing, this is a good choice. It plays so smoothly and the controls are huge! Even the gain of the volume control has a huge range. All the switches and knobs feel like solid quality gear. This Vintera JM sounds EXACTLY how you'd want a JM to sound -straight out of the box. Yes, Squier has been making better and better guitars -and they are certainly good enough! But if you are wondering if a Fender is actually worth about three times as much as a Squier... Yes! It really is! It's MILES above any Squier I have played. I have resolved my 'Fender Curiosity'.

I am in love with this guitar. The hardware has a quality feel to it. I play 80s new wave style music and nothing matches a Jazzmaster. I also play at church. Switched to 11-46 strings and the tones are spot on. I've always wanted a jazzmaster since '89. I went with the Vintera for a few reasons. The thicker radius just because I'm a bass ayer and like a thick neck. I wanted the… read more Pro II but couldn't justify the cost since Fender isn't producing the Daphne Blue anymore. Next thought was the Performer. There was not enough difference, but so happy with the Vintera.i can get any tones I want. Thanks Alex for all the help making a decision. I shopped for months.
