Great Playing Guitar

This Gibson Les Paul Studio is a fine guitar, easy to play and the quality is good, but of course it is a Les Paul. You could say the Les Paul Studio is middle of the road, not the cheapest and certainly not the most expensive. But it is a very nice guitar, not too heavy but just heavy enough to feel good when holding it. It is also a beautiful guitar, but if I was buying it all… read more over again I would probably choose a different color, the ebony seems very easy to scratch. But I'm not disappointed with the Les Paul Studio at all.

I've found my soulmate...

This guitar is perfection. It is lightweight, sounds amazing (the sustain!!), plays beautifully, and looks gorgeous. I like the gig bag it came with as well. I know some have complained that there is no hard case but that doesn't bother me -- this is the sturdiest gig bag I've ever had. And dealing with Sweetwater is always a pleasure!

Looks great and its comfortable

This guitar is just the right size and weight for me and i can carry it so much easier when i go out. The slim tapper is smooth and the playability makes this the best value guitar whoever wants a gibson but not some knock off and to get one at an affordable price. I love this guitar

It costs about $ less than my standard 60's did. However, it plays - and sounds - just as good. The coil tapping works great without any popping. I bought the tangerine burst. Originally I wanted the smokehouse burst until I saw Lee Anderton playing the tangerine burst on one of his videos. Glad I went with it. The look is totally unique. Great setup again

Bought this les paul studio wine red guitar. You can keep the push pulls, other than that, this rig brings home the classic Gibson bacon. Great crunch when you need it, great sustain, and good ring. Not fancy if that's what you're looking for. No binding kind of a plain jane. I like that, a work horse. Case isn't bad, should be a hard case for the bucks.

Nothing beats a Gibson. Best Les paul I have every used,

I was excited with this guitar when I started playing it in a local retail chain. Then I pulled up both pots and did the coil split, played like that for a while the clean clear tones brought tears to my eye. I knew I had to have it, but selection options were terrible. So I went to sweetwater and I decided to get it there, multiple colors many choices to choose from, I was sold.… read more I got the color I wanted at the correct prices. Sensational Sounding Guitar

I gave my grandson my old 2002 Les Paul Studio, so I bought this new one to replace it with. As expected, it sounds fantastic, looks beautiful, and plays like a dream. The action was set up by Sweetwater, and it's perfect. I ordered it with the Grover 406C Mini Locking Rotomatic Tuners (I'm a big fan of locking tuners). As usual, Rob Kramer helped me through the whole sales… read more process, making sure I got everything I wanted. The Shipment came "intact" a few days later, thanks to the awesome job their shipping people do to protect the instrument. This new LP Studio comes with a Coil Tap function, which I'll probably never use. I didn't care for the sound of the coil tap mode. Everything else is exactly what I expect from a Les Paul.

I had been trying to find an orange burst for awhile but they were all back ordered. I talked to Justin who I highly recommend went ahead and placed the order and they came in and the financing changed and I still got 48 months. Stunning axe

An absolutely beautiful, world class instrument for any genre of music. Coil taps make it more versatile especially for brining clarity and detail to cleans. It's much lighter than expected, but tone-wise it's 100 percent Les Paul and has the most iconic and unmistakable humbucker tone of all time.

Plays like a dream and sounded great with no extra adjustments. Got compliments on it's sound from other guitarists. After watching a video on Sweetwater's 55point check I had no issues with ordering online. Comes with a really nice gig bag too.

Citrus Awesomeness

I had a Les Paul Tribute in Iced Tea Burst that I dearly love and was wanting to add another Les Paul to the collection. I'm not big on neck or body binding. I just need the Les Paul sound. These sound awesome through my growing Orange amp collection, so when I saw the Studio in Tangerine Burst I knew I had to have it. Fairly throaty, very useful. Quality of build on mine was flawless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this guitar and the Sweetwater service is second to none.

From the beginning my experience with Sweetwater has been amazing. I recently purchased a Gibson Les Paul Studio. Paid the extra charge for the personal setup. Guitar was setup, shipped and received just as I had ordered. Brian was great to deal with. He is very accommodating and professional. This American made LP is gorgeous. The split coils feature is cool. The balance… read more and feel of this guitar is top notch. I love the weight relief. Even with it this is one hefty guitar. The sound is, well, Gibson. I've heard people knock the 490/498 humbuckers. Well, they kick ### in this LP. The fit and finish on this thing is out of this world. Thank you Gibson for committing to the American worker and his/her family by keeping this great company manufacturing world class instruments in the U.S.A! QC at Gibson is great, compared to before the recent ownership change. These owners are the real deal. Even though this came with a pretty nice Gibson bag I also purchased a Gator ABS LP hard case. Very nice case. Guitar fits snugly and the headstock is well supported. If you're contemplating Sweetwater or Gibson USA...do it. You will not be disappointed.

One Sweet Guitar

I'm an amateur. But I feel like a pro when I play this. I have an American Strat, a PRS, and this Gibson beauty. I love all 3 but the Gibson Les Paul, well she's special. And so nice to just look at as she is sitting on her stand. So proud looking. Plays like a dream too!

Pure Joy

This LP studio has become my #1. I do wish they came with a hard shell case at this price. But the gig bag is very nice and luxurious too. It played nicely out of the box— a few minor adjustments to bridge height and neck relief and we’re in the zone. I know I will cherish this instrument for a long time! Sweetwater did a great job getting it to me!
