Beautiful and So Lush
Guitar sounds amazing. Beautiful high crisps and dark lows, very clean tone. Also the guitar weighs practically nothing. I have a hard time jumping back to my fender start because this just feels really good, you have to experience it. Easy string change, easy maintenance, worth it.
Very impressive guitar
Beautiful out of the box. The action was not to my preference so I dropped string height 3/4 mm and set the intonation which was a breeze. The wizard neck is great, the fret board feels very nice, the JESCAR frets make playing effortless, and the neck join is really minimal. The guitar is remarkably comfortable due to extensive ergonomic shaping while the thin body, headless design… read more and cut out for the tuners make it really light. Not gonna lie, between shape and weight this guitar has ruined me for other guitars. The electronics are where this thing shines. The three R1s, the 5 way and the Alter switch make this guitar so very, very versatile. Tone can be bright and bell-like, clear and smooth, sharp and a little spanky though it has no trouble finding full rich sounds and warm tones with clear articulation, even has a setting that'll get close to a humbucker in the bridge. I lose hours as I find myself experimenting with various pick up configurations and jumping from math rock to jazz to blues and things in between. Side note, there is a useful guide to the pick ups, 5 way and the Alter switch on the Ibanez website; highly recommend taking a look at it. Lastly, huge shout out and many thanks to my SE, Brian Dillon, for bringing the ICHI10 demo to my attention.
