I did a lot of research before buying this pedal. Both modes sound great, and it performs the same in the effects loop as it does in front of the preamp (to me ears at least, ymmv). I only really use the sine and square waveforms, but there's a lot of tonal possibilities with this pedal.

I wanted something that would give me great subtle tremolo without signal loss. It looks great, you can make up for any lost signal with the volume control. The harmonic mode is mode is great for a more textured sound. Only complaint is I was clipping the circuit having it south of all my volume and dirt effects in the signal chain. Moved it to the front and the problem went away.
