Super pulsar... is super
There IS a learning curve.. but not bad. There's so much you can do for effects, and effects upon effects with this machine alone. There won't be any boredom with it because it seems endless in it's capacity to alter and enhance other effects as well as just a clean amp.
The Tip of the Iceburg
I've had mine for 2 months and only skimmed the surface of it's features. What impresses me most however, is simply the overall tone of the pedal. I was expecting lots of control but the oozing of crystal-clear, botique tone is a pleasant surprise. Without a doubt the best Tremolo pedal I've ever tried. I only wish they would've included, a paper manual. You can get the manual… read more from the EHX site, and I'm all for saving trees, but this thing has so many options it's the one time I'd like a hard copy to sit and read through.
Best vibrato - period.
This pedal is simply fantastic. We all know it's loaded with features and adjustable parameters, but where EHX really set themselves apart is the fact that they supplied sufficient head and foot room in all of these parameters. Serious question, I can't find a flaw with it.
You Need This In Your Life

Fine-tuned adjustments make pretty significant changes and the impact of those adjustments varies depending on the characteristics of the input signal. This took some getting used to, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Best tremolo ever!
I did tons of research before buying this pedal, and it was mainly just to figure out if any tremolo could outdo the Super Pulsar. They couldn't. 100% analog signal path, but with tap tempo (both internal AND external), the ability to compensate for expected tremolo volume drops, a nearly infinite amount of LFO shapes, envelope followers to control rate and depth, pattern trem,… read more usable as a stereo panner... There's basically no base this effect doesn't cover. One of my favorites is running a regular sine wave with the right channel LFO out of phase by 90 or 270 degrees. Makes it seem like the tremolo is perfectly encircling you. Best tremolo ever. :)
