I never write reviews on gear purchases and I buy a LOT of gear. I bought the Tidewater trem to use when I am playing through an amp/cab sim pedal. Let me just say that I wasn't really expecting to be blown away by this pedal..I mean..It's a tremolo pedal. But, I was. Such a joy to play through. Simple controls, small footprint, but most importantly it sounds fantastic. Very… read more Fender or Vox like, but it can also get a bit more choppy if you're looking for that. I run it after a Source Audio Collider on the true spring setting into a Walrus Audio ACS1 as a quiet practice tool and a backup direct setup.
Essential trem. No need to tweak every parameter.

Really great sounding, simple, and small trem. Perfect for feeling of loss of not having a good one built in to your amp. Well built. The right size.

A great little pedal. No frills, just a simple tremolo pedal that doesn't take up any room on a pedal board. This is my third pedal from JHS. I'm lovin that company as well as sweetwater. My sales guy Geoff Allen is great and always has great suggestions for me
