Oh boy. It's great. I got to flip all the switches and turn all the knobs and every rate, depth, frequency and toggle setting is very musical and usable. Set your level to taste and then just spin the knobs at random and you're going to have a cool sound.

It sounds cool

Dug it a lot. very fun to play around with. using the LFO on the filter setting creates and almost phase like affect. sounds great on guitar. have yet to try on bass but doesn't seem to have much of a tone change when I'm using it on guitar so I don't suspect to lose any low end. We'll see, might post a review just for bass.

Wonderful and versatile tremolo!

This harmonic trem packs a lot of features and flexibility in a pretty straightforward package. In addition to the harmonic and Phase type tremolo I like to use it as an auto wah type effect. Well done Earthquaker!

Super flexible mod pedal

I've had the V1 for a couple of years now, it's an amazingly flexible pedal, it's not just a tremolo, it can be used as a phaser, a dynamic filter/auto-wah and as a unique fusion of all three.

I have to say this right out of the gate: I own two EQD devices (Levitation reverb and this here Nightwire) and I don't know if the gurus at Earthquaker made this so or if it is happenstance, but there is a certain kind of magic that goes on when these two pedals are engaged simultaneously! I tried them alone and then put them into the fray with my other pedals and there it is, read more EQD magic! This Nightwire is much, MuCh, MUCH more than a harmonic tremolo. I haven't even scratched the surface but this thing is frickin' awesome!!! Crazy good envelope filter, an even better phaser, and a downright amazing harmonic tremolo! This is truly amazing, one of those inspirational, sit down all day and create type pedals... EQD plays well with all my other pedals, right out in front of the amp, and in parallel through the loop, fantastic. Even if you don't think you want one, BUY ONE you won't regret it!
