A SUBTLE BUT SUPURB CHANGE!!

I installed 2 of these in my Les Paul Traditional and the change is subtle but AMAZING! The real change I notice (my wife as well) is the clarity in note definition. My Les Paul had Orange Drop capacitors from factory (which aren't a bad capacitor) but these paper and oil capacitors are what's going in all my guitars for sure!!

I purchased a pair for these to replace the old ceramic caps in my 87 Les Paul Standard. They helped open up the tone a bit and add some warmth. They also seemed to make tone and volume pot adjustments a bit more sensitive.

I upgraded to these from Orange Drop Caps in my '88 SG that I bought in '89. All I can saw is WOW!!! I could not believe the difference. These Bumblebees are so much warmer and richer in tone. If you are looking for the best tone then these are for you.

to the casual player, there wont be a huge difference between this and an orange cap. but to the tone freak destined to search for the perfect sound, this is a big improvement.

498t of my 1999 Gibson les paul had sounded a bit dull and stiff but since coupled with this guy it seems relived and sounds like Holy Grail. Thanks to Emerson and Sweetwater and my sales engineer Mr. Chris Sanders.
