I love them so much I now own two

Tonal possibilities are astounding. It feels as good as it sounds. It's the most balanced guitar I've ever played. It'll strat, it'll tele, it'll Paul. As for the gig bag I can say I, and many many many others, prefer the gig bag. It's the same bag as the Silver Sky. These are guitars designed for working musicians. Many of whom prefer gig bags over cases. I'm one of the.

I was about to order the Fiore, in Red, when I happened to see Gary's review. It comes in a gig bag! That's absurd for a $2500 guitar, and a deal-breaker for me. I decided not to order it.

PRS Fiore

Just bought a Fiore used. The owner bought it from Sweetwater. I really love this guitar. After 35 PRS Guitars that I owned I have to confess that this one is my FAVORITE model. Always wanting a Strat style guitar from PRS with a humbucker in the bridge position. Sounds simple, but in most cases it doesn't work quite well in terms of balance between the pickups. The Fiore has two read more great sounding single coils that keep up with everything Fender you know. The bridge pickup is simply awesome and easily the best PRS pick I have used. Not too gainy, it balances very well with the single coils without leaving you unsatisfied like most Superstrats do. The bridge pickup reminds me a lot of early Van Halen. It is articulate yet warm with a very nice midrange you have to encounter yourself. The finish seems to be very thin nitrocellulose coating and it will age quickly. This is a guitar you can take anywhere for gigs, sessions and fun and you don't have to worry about whether it is getting a ding or scratch. Just like the Pre CBS Fenders were. The construction is very robust and you can put the guitar on the floor without the fear of breaking the headstock!!! The neck is the best PRS neck I have played and easily beats every Strat neck I played, be it Fender Custom Shop, Xotic and Suhr. It is almost as full in my hands on the lowest frets as it is all the way up the neck. Norm from Norman's Rare Guitars always favored this type of neck on select vintage Gibson and Fenders. No compound radius needed. The guitar plays with very little effort and it is hard to put down. The tremolo is a non brainer and works, while a little different with only two instead of 6 screws to the normal PRS/Manmade tremolo. Gets very addictive to play. Why didn't PRS come up with a guitar like that before? They would have sold quite a few of them.

A Keeper in a cheap gig bag

I totally agree with the previous reviewer's take on the tonal possibilities of of this guitar. I have two other PRS guitars and the neck on this one is by far my favorite. It really plays great and I love the variety of clean and "funk" tones to be had. This guitar is a keeper that I will use for both recordings and gigs. The reason for only 4 stars? PRS seems to take delight in read more insulting their customers with very cheaply made, unprotective gig bag for a premium $ guitar. I don't get why they are so cheap to not include a hard case with a premium guitar. I have a number of expensive guitars from different guitar makers and no one but PRS has the audacity to ship their guitars in cheap gig bags. So, if you want to protect the guitar in a plush, sturdy hard case, you'll have to add another $ to your purchase. For me, that sucks.

The guitar that fills the void

I have a few humbucker (HH) loaded guitars and was looking to get a guitar that would fill the "single coil" void. I tried a few other guitars with SSS/HSS type configurations however, the tones I got from them were less than desirable. I decided to order the PRS Fiore sight unseen as I have a few other quality PRS instruments myself. I'll tell you, this guitar definitely surpassed read more my tonal expectations. I can see why this guitar is Mark Lettieri's new "go to": it can get nice cleans, solid overdriven humbucker tones with the bridge pickup and everything in between. This guitar is also great with those notorious, percussive type tones heard on countless funk tracks. This one's a keeper. Forrest Powell and Dan P. did a very nice job at accommodating my request for a guitar setup and performed great final QC before delivery. Thank you Sweetwater for a great product and awesome service.
