Awesome!
I've owned this guitar for a year now. I have 4 guitars of equal price and quality. This one is the best of them.
Schecter Keith Merrow KM-7 KM-lll Hybrid Snowblind
My first schecter guitar I owned. I'm used to playing Ibanez and fenders. Only had guitar about 2 weeks. Love the guitar so far. I'm going threw the learning curve of playing a 7 string guitar. I've played 6 strings in the past. For the price range this guitar is in I did a lot of research and compared a lot of guitars. Mainly Jackson. Ibanez. And schecter. For this purchase.… read more My findings came to be that schecter had better components on the guitar. For other guitars in this price range. Unless you wanted a Floyd rose style bridge. I did not. This schecter 7 string. Has hips hot bridge. Locking tuners. Earnie ball nut. Spoke wheel neck adjustment. Threw the body neck 5 piece. Custom fishman fluence active pickups. When Keith Merrow was helping with the guitar specks. He custom voiced these pickups. With one voicing. The modern metal first position on his other 3 voiced pickups. Sounds great. Strat forward controls. 1 volume- 1 three way toggle for pickup position. Bridge/bridge-neck/neck pickups. I play mine threw a Randall 120watt Satan head unit. With 4 Celestion speakers. And it's raw sounding. No matter what tuning. When I first purchased guitar on Sweetwaters website I was ordering a demo version of this guitar. It was marked down on price for a few surface scratches. Sweetwater found an issue with that guitar. And instead of just sending it to me. My sales rep called me. They sent me a brand new guitar. Same one. No extra charge. In fact they overnighted it to me. I received it the next day. Thank you Sweetwater. Those reasons are why I am and have been a returning customer. Great metal guitar. Keith Merrow also has many 6 string models as well. Thank you Chris Berry for the great sales/tech support.
