I love this guitar!

Roy Ruzika

Extremely versatile range of tones. The neck, like the original, is thicker, but I find this a very easy guitar to play and comfortable to hold. Some say the switching is complicated, but I don't see why. I had no trouble with it when I was 14 and have no trouble now at almost 70. In about 2 and a half minutes you'll get it and your rewarded with a wide tonal palette. I like read more the pickups, the frets were fine and the finish is gorgeous. If you can deal with the thicker neck I think you'll love this guitar. I play everything from 60's rock to jazz and this guitar can handle it all. The Sweetwater service was excellent. Thanks to Brent.

Fantastic Guitar after removing the string mute

Jon Wilson

This is the dream Jaguar you've been dreaming about! When I first got it, the action was super high and I was ready to return it. However, after removing the string mute, I actually had to raise the bridge and it plays like a dream with low and level action from the nut to the last fret. There is very little single coil hum, too. The pickups sound really bright and clear and read more the electronics are high quality. You can roll off the volume for less attack and the tone controls are useful all the way down to zero. There is no need for a neck shim and so far the bridge is rattle free. If you decide to leave the string mute on, you'll need a 1 degree neck shim from StewMac to level out the action. Just take it off! Very plush case. This one is a keeper.
